As a whole, the system was not fully tested in a laboratory setup, but all the components and cabling are present and intact. The light beam, brightness control, motorised X-Y stage control and motorised focusing, oiler mechanism cassette lifter and barcode reader were not fully tested. The light power unit and stacker powers up ok. The GSL-120 microscope optic, objective lens and eyepieces are in good condition. The mains computer system is in good working order with all its associated equipment in fair physical condition. Unfortunately, the unit was disconnected at the time of inspection. The Leica CytoVision software programme on the main unit needs to be re-installed and setup. The GSL-120 systems power-up and the attached computer systems start up correctly.
