The Autodesk Navisworks Development team has created the universal translator (NWC exporter) for third party situations like this.

The Solidworks software development team (Dassault) is working on a compatible translator for the code base in their 2015/2016 release for issue.
In this case the SLDPRT file format from Dassault software is supported until 2014 release (help document identifies 2003-2012).
